Facing Charlotte Flair in the future after huge in-ring return is possible, says WWE star; was very disappointed with injury
Charlotte Flair has been out with an injury from WWE for almost a year now. A star has talked about her eventual return to the ring and a huge match that must happen when The Queen is finally ready.
Tiffany Stratton has quickly become one of the top stars in WWE over the past year, winning over the audience as a heel. She has also won the Money in the Bank briefcase, making it possible for her to become champion at any time, should she use the contract opportunity smartly. There's a lot of pressure on her to deliver, but she feels that there's one match that she needs in her career with the Stamford-based promotion.
Charlotte Flair's ACL, MCL, and meniscus tears saw her taken out of action from WWE last year in December, and while the star has teased returning, it hasn't happened so far.
Her injury occurred around the same time that Tiffany Stratton became a permanent part of the main roster in WWE. Speaking to the NY Post Stratton has revealed that she was very disappointed to not get to face her. At the same time, she felt that her storyline with Nia Jax had improved her and she could not wait to face the veteran when she finally returned to the ring. She felt that a match between the two of them was inevitable.
"I was very disappointed. But I do think everything happens for a reason, so maybe there’s something bigger that will happen down the line or something that means a little bit more. I am in this story with Nia, so I definitely think I was supposed to be paired up with Nia first. And, you know, everything happens for a reason. So I think eventually we’ll be in the ring with each other," she said.

Over the last year, Tiffany Stratton has become a top figure in WWE, and Charlotte Flair facing her would lead to a crucial storyline for both stars.
They could have a lot to do with each other and Stratton's Money in the Bank briefcase also hints that she may be a champion soon.
Should she win gold, a feud with Charlotte Flair would make even more sense for the young starlet and the seasoned veteran.
