Faction formed in 2018 picks up first-ever WWE win; controversial former star pins current champion

A popular faction has picked up their first win in the WWE. They pinned current one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions to get the win.

In 2018, Wes Lee, Zachary Wentz, and Trey Miguel formed a group back in Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW). However, they gained much traction for their stint in TNA Wrestling. After several impressive performances, The Rascalz broke up as Lee and Wentz were signed to WWE under the name MSK.

The duo won the NXT Tag Team Championship during their time in WWE. However, Wentz was released from the company due to controversial reasons. On the other hand, Lee became the NXT North American Championship. After losing the title, he suffered major setbacks in reclaiming gold.

A dejected Wes Lee was addressing the fans a couple of weeks ago when Wentz and Trey Miguel showed up to reunite their faction. Since then, the group has been together on NXT. Tonight on NXT, they challenged Je'Von Evans and NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom to a match.

Both teams put on an incredible match filled with plenty of high spots that had the fans on their feet throughout. Both teams also displayed incredible chemistry in the ring. Ultimately, Zachary Wentz picked up the win for The Rascalz by pinning Axiom.

It remains to be seen if The Rascalz will get a tag team title shot after pinning one-half of the champions.
