Fans won't care about Solo Sikoa despite WWE adding a shock element to SummerSlam, feels wrestling veteran (Exclusive)

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo spoke about Cody Rhodes defending his championship against Solo Sikoa. The two stars will meet at SummerSlam with the Undisputed WWE Championship hanging in the balance.

Ever since Roman Reigns left, Solo Sikoa picked up the reins of The Bloodline. He added new members such as Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu to the group and made the stable as dominant as ever. He will now face Cody Rhodes in a bid to win the Undisputed WWE Championship.

During the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo claimed nobody would care about the outcome of the biggest match at SummerSlam. He detailed that even if Solo ended Cody's title run, he wouldn't get any heel heat. The writer felt fans didn't resonate with Solo Sikoa and wouldn't care even if he won the championship.

"Listen, man, having Solo beat Cody, let's be honest. Let me ask you. Would that put any heat on Solo? Does anybody care about Solo?" [From 13:58 onwards]

Over the last couple of weeks, The Bloodline has victimized anyone that stood in their way. First, they took out Randy Orton, putting him through the announcer's table while forcing Cody Rhodes to watch.

The following week, they destroyed Cody and Kevin Owens, sending out a strong message to the champ ahead of SummerSlam.
