“Feeling so extra grateful” - Pregnant WWE RAW star shares personal update
One of WWE RAW's most notable stars is currently on hiatus.
Carmella has already etched her name in the history books as the first-ever Ms. Money in the Bank of WWE. While her career has not reached its full potential yet, there is still time.
While on maternity leave, The Princess of Staten Island celebrated her 36th birthday on October 23. She shared a story on Instagram addressing the arrival of her baby boy:
"Fast forward to a year and I have a healthy baby boy in my belly who will be in my arms sooner rather than later. Feeling so extra grateful and blessed this year," Carmella wrote on Instagram.
Several top stars, including Damian Priest, Maxxine Dupri, and even AEW personality Renee Paquette, reacted to Corey Graves' recent post about his wife Carmella. Check it out here.
Is Carmella done with WWE?
During an interview conducted by Distractify, Carmella was asked when she would return to in-ring competition. The former SmackDown Women's Champion clarified that she is definitely not looking to permanently step away:
"I definitely want to go back. [...] I'm someone who likes to be, you know, be active and keep busy. So it's definitely hard, I think, to go from working so much all the time and being on the road all the time to the exact opposite. I definitely want to go back; I think it's important to show that you can be a mom and still have a career and especially a very physical one." [H/T: Distractify]
Carmella feels the need to reflect on what is more important now. The 36-year-old disclosed that she is in no hurry and will only resurface on WWE TV when she is at 100%:
"That being said, I definitely want to take my time going back, I don't want to rush. Having a baby and delivering a baby in and of itself is such a huge physical toll on the body. So I want to make sure I feel great both physically and mentally before I go back."
She briefly made an in-ring comeback earlier this year on WWE RAW, notably competing inside the Elimination Chamber in February. The bout was ultimately won by Asuka, who forced Carmella to submit.
