Female ex-WWE star makes in-ring return after 756 days; was released last year

A former WWE Superstar made her in-ring return tonight at a wrestling event. The star in question is none other than Aliyah.

The 29-year-old wrestled her last match in World Wrestling Entertainment back in September 2022. She was then released about a year later, on September 21, 2023, without having wrestled a single match for the entirety of 2023.

Aliyah has been quite active on her social media handles since her release last year. She finally made her in-ring return at tonight's Destiny World Wrestling event.

On the September 12, 2022, episode of WWE RAW, Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez lost the Women's Tag Team titles to Dakota Kai and IYO SKY. It ended up being Aliyah's last match in the promotion.

After an entire year away from action, the star was let go by the Stamford-based company. She remained inactive for over a year before finally making her in-ring return tonight.

Her fans are quite excited to see what's next for her now that she's back in action. Aliyah made waves in the pro wrestling world back in early 2022 when she defeated Natalya in 3.17 seconds, which is the fastest win in the history of WWE.
