"Find our dark place" - Popular WWE star sends a message to Randy Orton; teases major heel turn and dream match
WWE Superstar Randy Orton is currently performing as a babyface on the SmackDown brand. Despite this disposition, The Viper's character always carries darker undertones which are fueled by his Legend Killer gimmick. Interestingly, a reigning WWE champion recently sent a message to the 14-time World Champion highlighting the same characteristics and teased a major heel turn and a dream match. The name in question is Nathan Frazer.
Randy Orton was part of the main event of this week's episode of NXT. The hometown hero of St. Louis emerged victorious against Je'Von Evans. However, ahead of the match, The Apex Predator had turned to Fraxiom for advice which helped him pick up the win against the 20-year-old star.
The Viper had asked the reigning NXT Tag Team Champions about Evans' speed. Responding to the question, Axiom said that Je'Von was the fastest on the developmental brand's roster. On the other hand, Nathan Frazer protested that he was faster. Following this, the 26-year-old star apologized for being a hothead but Randy said that it was not something to be apologetic about.
Moreover, Orton said that he is a hothead himself and that everyone needs to find their dark place to thrive. Quoting The Viper's words, Frazer has now sent him a message on Instagram, teasing a heel turn and a potential dream match against the former.
"Sometimes, we all need to find our dark place," Nathan Frazer shared.

The post invited several comments from the WWE Universe joking about Frazer's heel turn and the end of Fraxiom for the millionth time. Notably, their split has been teased so often that it has become a running gag among fans.
WWE Superstar Randy Orton helped Je'Von Evans acquire more star power
Randy Orton's recent match against Je'Von Evans resulted in a lot of critical acclaim for the latter. The high-flying star had been making good progress in NXT, but his match against The Viper, even in a losing effort, has now earned him a potential title shot.
Notably, NXT General Manager Ava was impressed with Evans' performance and put him in the number-one contender's Triple Threat Match against Wes Lee and Ethan Page. The winner of the bout will be facing Trick Williams for the NXT Championship.
However, ahead of receiving the news of the big match, the youngster was seen apologizing to Randy Orton on live TV following his match. The reason behind this was a botch due to which The Viper failed to land his RKO properly. Despite this, the 14-time World Champion had no problem improvising and giving the match a quick alternative finish.
Orton cheered and praised Evans as he apologized and raised his hand before the crowd. It would be interesting to see if Je'Von can secure a match with Trick Williams and compete for the gold.
