Finn Bálor explains his peculiar mask at WWE Bad Blood

Two months after The Judgment Day imploded, Finn Bálor and Damian Priest finally locked horns at WWE Bad Blood. During his entrance, Bálor was seen sporting a new mask tailor-made for the premium live event.

The mask had few details on it, representing three things: his fallen comrades, each of whom he had shed a tear, and the line they crossed. Taking to Instagram, The Prince explained the significance of the mask he wore during his entrance at Bad Blood.

Each tear on either side is for Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest, the former Judgment Day stars who were kicked out of the group in August. A thick white line separates the tears in between, which represents the line they both crossed:

"A Tear for Damian. A Tear for Rhea. And the line they both crossed," Finn Bálor wrote.

In the end, though, The Archer of Infamy prevailed, despite multiple interferences from The Judgment Day's Carlito and JD McDonagh. How this result impacts their run on RAW in the coming weeks bears watching.

Will Finn Bálor bring back The Demon following WWE Bad Blood?

Finn Bálor was known for his alter-ego, The Demon, especially during his NXT run. However, upon moving to the main roster in 2016, his use of the character did not always get the best reaction. According to Bálor, "there is a time and a place" for it, and he will only bring it back in such scenarios.

Since joining The Judgment Day, this has been The Prince's mentality. The only time he brought back The Demon was at WrestleMania 39, where he stepped inside Hell in a Cell against WWE Hall of Famer Adam 'Edge' Copeland.

On Instagram, following his loss to Damian Priest, WWE posted a clip of Finn Bálor, in which he is seen informing the former World Heavyweight Champion that their rivalry is far from over. This backstage promo fueled speculation that The Demon King could make an appearance next:

"This ain't over, Damian! This ain't over because right when you least expect it... I'll be waiting," he said.

Bad Blood marked only the first fight between Priest and Bálor, although the intensity of their feud had already peaked. Unfortunately, many fans believe The Judgment Day has lost a lot of its luster after repeated failures.
