Finn Balor and JD McDonagh set to appear in a major wrestling promotion days after Judgment Day implosion
Finn Balor and JD McDonagh are the reigning WWE World Tag Team Champions. The duo is set to appear at the Irish promotion, Over The Top Wrestling.
At the 2024 SummerSlam Premium Live Event, Balor betrayed Damian Priest, leading to the implosion of The Judgment Day. On the RAW after SummerSlam, Balor revealed the new version of the group, comprising Carlito, Liv Morgan, and McDonagh.
On the upcoming 10th anniversary of OTT Wrestling, Balor and McDonagh will appear in the promotion at Dublin's National Stadium. The show is scheduled for October 26, 2024.

McDonagh was an integral part of OTT Wrestling during his time on the independent circuit. In 2018, he became the inaugural OTT World Champion, eventually losing the title to Gunther (fka Walter) later that year.
The Irish Ace joined The Judgment Day after aligning with Balor on the main roster. Over the past several months, he has played a major role in the faction.
Sam Roberts wants Finn Balor to bring back his Demon persona against Damian Priest
Finn Balor's Demon persona gained immense popularity in NXT and on the main roster. However, Balor last used the character for his Hell in a Cell Match against Edge at WrestleMania 39.
On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts provided his take on Balor's persona, labeling him a "true villain". He also suggested the former Universal Champion bring back the Demon gimmick for a match against his former Judgment Day stablemate, Damian Priest. Roberts said:
"I'm already having visions of now that he's [Finn Balor] a true villain, The Demon coming back. Damian Priest vs. The Demon. I mean, it's just so cool."
The new version of The Judgment Day is expected to continue its feud with The Terror Twins (Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest). At SummerSlam, Dominik Mysterio turned his back on Rhea Ripley, leading to her exit from the faction. Due to Mysterio's betrayal, Ripley failed to regain the Women's World Championship from Liv Morgan.
