Finn Balor keeping The Judgment Day in the dark; 2-time WWE champion reveals shocking details
The Judgment Day was changed forever at WWE SummerSlam 2024 after Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio decided to turn on Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest respectively. However, JD McDonagh revealed a shocking detail and stated that Balor kept two faction members in the dark.
Earlier this year, a third iteration of The Judgment Day came into existence after Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest were replaced by Liv Morgan and effectively Carlito, who has been with the group since soon after moving to the red brand. The idea was for the group to be without any leaders. It looks like The Prince is already breaking the rules.
Speaking on WWE Deutschland, the former NXT Cruiserweight and World Tag Team Champion JD McDonagh shockingly revealed that he and Carlito were entirely in the dark about Raquel Rodriguez and her return to the Stamford-based promotion at WWE Bad Blood. He stated it was Finn Balor and Liv Morgan's decision.
"I say that we're always communicating and talking, but me and Carlito were in the dark for it [Raquel Rodriguez's return] entirely. That was kept very close to the chest by Finn [Balor] and Liv [Morgan]. They didn't want anyone to have any idea that Raquel [Rodriguez] was in town. So, I was pleasantly surprised to see her. I was very happy to see Liv walking out with the Women's World Championship. That's all that matters," McDonagh said. (From 22:50 to 23:15)

The Judgment Day's Finn Balor failed at WWE Bad Blood
Earlier this year, Finn Balor decided to step up and take control of The Judgment Day. After slowly moving away from Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, the Prince finally showed his true colors when he stabbed Priest in the back.
After WWE SummerSlam 2024, Balor introduced the world to a new version of the faction and added Carlito first and then Liv Morgan. However, he wasn't done with The Archer of Infamy and wanted to settle it in the ring.
Over the weekend, Balor went one-on-one with Priest and lost. Regardless of The Judgment Day's assist, the former Universal Champion failed to defeat the Archer of Infamy.
Unfortunately for Damain Priest, Finn Balor isn't done, and the two will continue their feud in the coming weeks and possibly even months. It'll be interesting to see how the story ends between two former tag team champions and partners.
