WWE News: Finn Balor makes an appearance at Independent Wrestling show in Ireland
Finn Balor made a surprise appearance yesterday at an event called The Dream Before Christmas by Over The Top Wrestling in Dublin, Ireland. He even took to Twitter to post about it:

In a promo, Balor spoke about starting his career off by wrestling in Ireland and also mentioned how the wrestling community needed to be united. He then praised the organisation OTT (Over The Top), which was met with “OTT” chants by the crowd.
Ricochet and Will Ospreay headlined the event. Here’s a video showing Balor’s appearance:
This is not the first independent wrestling appearance that Balor has made recently. He had also appeared on ICW (Insane Championship Wrestling)’s Fear And Loathing event during the Survivor Series weekend in Glasgow, Scotland.

Raw General Manager Mick Foley was supposed to appear at the event as well, but wasn’t able to, due to his appearance commitments for WWE’s Survivor Series. However, Balor was allowed to go as a replacement, where he served as a special enforcer.
Balor, as can be seen, is now without the sling and has been without it since late October. He was first spotted without the sling on a promotional tour of WWE 2K17 in France.
He has previously spoken about his rehabilitation process going well. As of today, it will be his 118th Day of rehabilitation after getting injured.
Despite being open about the progress of his recovery, Balor continues to deny a possible Royal Rumble return. He consistently states that he expects to return by Wrestlemania 33, and at best, a few weeks before the grandest stage of them all.
Balor is expected to return to the United States by the end of December, where he will be expected to continue his rehabilitation process by training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando and also in Birmingham, Alabama, where he had his surgery done.
