Finn Balor sends bold message after losing WWE title match
Finn Balor sent a bold message on social media today after coming up short in a major WWE title match. The veteran is currently a member of The Judgment Day on WWE RAW.
Gunther successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor and Damian Priest in a Triple Threat match at Saturday Night's Main Event. Balor and JD McDonagh also lost the World Tag Team Championship to The Viking Raiders in the main event of this past Monday's episode of RAW. Balor took to social media today to boast about his career and vowed to become champion again.
"Trust the math Trust Finn I will be CHAMPION again," he wrote.
Finn Balor cost Damian Priest the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam and interfered in The Archer of Infamy's title match against Gunther at WWE Survivor Series. Priest got a measure of revenge this past Monday night on RAW when he interfered in the World Tag Team Championship match and cost The Judgment Day the titles.
Former WWE writer comments on potential change for Finn Balor's character
Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently shared his thoughts on the possibility of WWE bringing back The Demon character for Finn Balor.
The veteran has had some tension with The Judgment Day as of late. He has tried to establish himself as the leader of the group following Damian Priest's exit, but it has not gone as planned. Balor was determined to capture the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night's Main Event but came up short.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the legend noted that he would be in favor of Balor bringing back The Demon character. However, he wondered how the company would make it successful when it hasn't been able to do so with The Wyatt Sicks.
"Bro, if you push him as The Demon, I'm fine with that. But how are you gonna figure out what to do with The Demon when you can't figure out what to do the Wyatt Sicks?" [From 09:03 to 09:11]
