In recent months, Balor has lost numerous high-stakes bouts, including a chance to qualify for the 2024 Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. However, the former Universal Champion recently bounced back by winning the World Tag Team Championship with his Judgment Day stablemate.
Vince Russo believes a feud between Finn Balor and Damian Priest is a possibility
Finn Balor and Damian Priest have teased feuding with each other on numerous occasions. Priest seemingly wants to prove his credibility as World Heavyweight Champion without The Prince's help.
On Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo, former creative writer Vince Russo said WWE would bank on a potential babyface turn for Priest.
"Bro, if Seth wins, Priest is dead. Bro, here's what they're banking on. I'm telling you right now. Here's what they're banking on, Priest loses, but he's gonna be okay, bro, because he's gonna be a huge babyface because The Judgment Day's gonna turn on him. Here's what you and I know, and here's what they know deep down inside, bro. The Judgment Day has no heat, so that is not going to mean [anything]. Damian Priest beating up Finn Balor means zero. Zero, bro."
Balor and Priest are former Undisputed Tag Team Champions. At WrestleMania XL, they lost the RAW and SmackDown WWE Tag Team championships to The Awesome Truth and A-Town Down Under, respectively.
It remains to be seen what plans WWE has in store for Balor and The Judgment Day.
