Finn Balor sends a message after annihilating 49-year-old WWE legend on RAW
WWE Superstar Finn Balor recently reacted to the brutal attack he carried out on a legendary figure during this week's Monday Night RAW. The veteran in question is Rey Mysterio.
On the September 9, 2024, installment of the red brand, The Master of 619 and Balor engaged in an intense one-on-one showdown. The LWO and The Judgment Day faction members were barred from ringside during this bout.
At one point in the match, the 49-year-old legend failed to execute his signature 619 move. Seizing the opportunity, Finn applied a painful yet unique Half Boston Crab, targeting the surgically repaired knee of Rey Mysterio. Finn Balor continued to relentlessly attack the WWE Hall of Famer, inflicting further damage.
Shawn Bennett, the referee, disqualified the 43-year-old due to his actions following a five-countout. This resulted in the leader of LWO being declared the winner of the singles match.
The former WWE Universal Champion later expressed frustration with the referee on Instagram, adding that he would never speak to Bennett again.
"619 < 4.7. PS : I will ever speak to ref @refbennett ever again," he wrote.

Finn Balor makes a huge statement about The Judgment Day
At SummerSlam 2024, The Prince betrayed Damian Priest by costing the latter the World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther. On the RAW after The Biggest Party of The Summer, Liv Morgan and Carlito officially joined The Judgment Day.
Later, Finn Balor posted a photo on Instagram alongside his stablemates, JD McDonagh, Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, and Carlito, emphasizing that there were no egos or leaders in the rejuvenated faction.
"NO EGOS. NO LEADERS," he wrote.

Meanwhile, Balor and Priest will lock horns in a singles match at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event on October 5, 2024. It will be interesting to see if The Archer of Infamy exacts revenge on his former stablemate next month.
