Former AEW star breaks silence after making shocking WWE debut
After making a shocking WWE debut, former AEW star Ethan Page took to social media to issue a statement. He made an unexpected appearance on the latest episode of NXT and attacked Trick Williams.
The 34-year-old star went on to announce that he was behind the backstage attacks on Noam Dar and Oro Mensah. Fans in the arena were taken aback, and so were Vic Joseph and Booker T on commentary. Vic even nearly name-dropped AEW. After attacking Trick Williams, the Canadian star raised the NXT Championship in the air as the show came to a close.
Ethan Page broke the silence on X/Twitter by stating that he was the one who "whooped that Trick," as he laid waste to the 30-year-old star during NXT this week.
"I guess I whooped that Trick," Ethan Page shared.

Before joining NXT, Ethan Page was signed to All Elite Wrestling. He was part of a faction known as The Firm during his time in the Jacksonville-based company, which also included Stokely Hathaway, Lee Moriarty, Colten Gunn, Austin Gunn, and W. Morrissey.
Page parted ways with AEW earlier this month, making him the latest star to leave the Tony Khan-led promotion for WWE. He also competed in TNA Wrestling, where he held the TNA World Tag Team Championship twice.
