Former champion believes WWE needed major change under Triple H

WWE has undergone several changes over the last few years under the new regime led by Triple H. Former NXT Women's Champion Mandy Rose explained why the Stamford-based company was in dire need of the changes.

The 34-year-old was released from WWE in December 2022 due to her NSFW paywall content, which reportedly broke a clause in her contract. Despite her controversial departure from the company, the former Toxic Attraction leader has often spoken highly of the leadership, especially Triple H.

During her recent appearance on the I-95 Morning Show, Mandy Rose stated the global juggernaut is in a good place. She added that the current product has improved from what it was two years ago. Rose believes the regime change was necessary as things freshened up under The Game.

"I think today, right now, it’s actually in a really good place. I don’t watch it a ton either right now, but I do support my fellow friends that are still there. I think right now, what they’ve got going on and what I’ve seen is pretty cool. Maybe two years ago, it wasn’t really the best. I think they needed this kind of new regime. [It] freshened it up a little bit with being under Triple H. I just think right now it’s pretty cool," she said. [H/T: Fightful]

Mandy Rose opens up about potential WWE return

After parting ways with the Stamford-based company, Mandy Rose did not join any other wrestling promotion. She has stayed away from the squared circle.

Speaking with Jamal Niaz at 'For The Love of Wrestling' via Monopoly Events, Rose stated she often misses being a professional wrestler. The former WWE star added she might return to the squared circle in the future.

"Days like today, I will say, there was a part of me when I was sitting in the ring, doing the Q&A, and all the fans were there. I do miss it, I will say. I said in an interview not too long ago that I didn’t really have the itch. I don’t know if I have the itch to go back and wrestle full-time right now. However, I do miss the fans. I miss the camaraderie. I miss the adrenaline rush. I’m doing a lot of amazing things, and I’m so grateful for where I’m at in my life. But do I have that adrenaline rush? Not really. I think that might be missing. I would do it for the fans. I would do it for the aspect of, there was some unfinished business," she said. [H/T: Fightful]

WWE has witnessed several surprising returns over the last few years. It remains to be seen if Mandy Rose will ever come back to Titanland.
