Former champion breaks silence after altercation with Sheamus on WWE RAW
A popular WWE Superstar and Sheamus' old stablemate recently sent a message to the Irishman following Monday Night RAW. The name in question is former NXT UK Champion Pete Dunne.
On the July 8 edition of the red brand's show, the 30-year-old wrestled his first match on the main roster in nearly two months. Unfortunately, Dunne suffered a loss at the hands of Bronson Reed. The former NXT North American Champion continued to attack the former member of The Brawling Brutes even after the match.
Fortunately for Pete Dunne, Sheamus ran in and attacked Reed and saved his former stablemate. However, in a surprising turn of events, instead of celebrating his reunion with the former WWE Champion, the Bruiserweight left the squared circle and ran out on the 46-year-old, pushing him away in the ring.
Pete Dunne appeared to be mad at the leader of his former faction. After the show, he took to Instagram to justify his actions on RAW. He posted pictures from the segment and seemingly left a message for the veteran in the caption.
"Think about it," he wrote.

WWE veteran has high hopes for Sheamus following his return from injury
The Celtic Warrior has been an integral part of the Stamford-based wrestling promotion over the years. He returned from injury earlier this year in April after being out of action for nearly eight months.
During a conversation on 83 Weeks, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff addressed the former world champion's return from injury. The former RAW manager stated he is hopeful that the latter would be part of a major storyline on The Road to WrestleMania 41.
"He has been off long enough that he is like the 'absence makes the heart grow fonder factor' has kicked it; it feels fresh. Yeah, would it have been nice if Sheamus had a story starting six months or a year ago, or perhaps it would have built to WrestleMania? Sure, that would have been nice. But if I'm Sheamus right now, I'm looking at what happens to me over the next 12 months. What am I going to be doing looking forward to the next WrestleMania because he has got a clear runway, and he's got some support behind him," he said.
The Celtic Warrior was involved in a heated rivalry with Ludwig Kaiser. The latter won the only televised match between the two superstars. Unfortunately, the Imperium member was recently forced out of action due to injury. It will be interesting to see what new direction WWE has for Sheamus amid Kaiser's current absence.
