Former champion brings back a forbidden move during WWE RAW match; suffers a loss
On the latest episode of WWE RAW, a six-man tag team match was held between Otis, Xavier Woods & Akira Tozawa against Karrion Kross and AOP of The Final Testament. One of the competitors used a forbidden move during the bout.
The Alpha Academy, which also includes Maxxine Dupri, was led by Chad Gable. They used to be heels, but they turned babyface after kicking out the latter. When the Olympian was running the group, he tried to control Otis by making him do things he didn't want to do.
During the multi-man match on WWE RAW this week, Xavier Woods started things off against Rezar. The New Day member hit the latter with multiple strikes, but he was sent to the corner. Akam tagged in, and Woods hit a jumping forearm. He tagged Tozawa, and the Alpha Academy member sent Akam to the outside and hit a suicide dive.
Later on, Karrion Kross entered the match and nailed Akira Tozawa with an F10. Otis finally got the hot tag and took out the heels with a clothesline. He hit a splash in the corner and nailed Akam with the Caterpillar, which is the move he was forbidden from doing by his former leader, Chad Gable.
This is the first time in months that Otis successfully performed the Caterpillar during a match on WWE RAW. Karrion Kross attacked him immediately after, and The Doomwalker nailed Xavier Woods with the Final Prayer to win the match for his team.
