Former champion who returned to WWE in 2022 wants to face CM Punk for the first time ever
CM Punk is a superstar who virtually every wrestler in WWE wants to face. However, there is that aspect of him potentially having only a few years left on the clock and if that is the case, then a former champion and current RAW Superstar who returned to WWE in 2022 wants to face Punk for the first time ever.
That superstar is the Australian powerhouse "Big" Bronson Reed. After taking out names like Seth Rollins, R-Truth, and The Miz, Reed is on a path of destruction and has even made a statement against Braun Strowman despite not having beaten him so far.
Speaking to nine.com.au, Bronson Reed noted that he will have unfinished business to pick up with Seth Rollins once he returns from his injury. Apart from Rollins, Reed namedropped The Second City Saint as the man he wants to get in the ring with for the first time ever.
"Then you have someone who I have been watching for a very long time and would like to get in the ring with, CM Punk."
CM Punk put a hilarious comment on Bronson Reed's Instagram post with his wife
Bronson Reed posted a photo of him with his wife Paige Hailey paying tribute to her on her birthday. Punk hilariously commented on the post, asking if her name was "Sue Nami" - which was a wordplay on his now infamous Tsunami move.
The Tsunami has quickly become one of the most devastating moves in modern-day wrestling. While it looked like it couldn't have been more impactful than the ones he hit on Seth Rollins to take him out, Bronson Reed took things to a whole new level when he hit the Tsunami on the Monster of All Monsters, Braun Strowman, while he was lying flat on the hood of a car.
Reed and CM Punk could cross paths someday. Perhaps once the feud with Drew McIntyre is over, it could be a good place to pick up.
