Former champion's undefeated record comes to an end at recent WWE event
WWE concluded its tour of Japan with a house show in Tokyo on Saturday, July 27. Apart from multiple title matches, the show also saw a former champion's undefeated run come to an end.
The star in question is former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion Jade Cargill. The 32-year-old has been booked pretty strongly since joining the Stamford-based promotion last year and is yet to be pinned or submitted. She has mainly competed in tag team matches, with Bianca Belair being her partner.
Jade also had an impressive live circuit record as she was on the winning end of all her 13 house show matches before Saturday. However, IYO SKY and Dakota Kai defeated Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill in a tag team match at Tokyo's show to end the latter's winning streak.

Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair will challenge for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship on SmackDown
Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are two of the most intimidating and strongest female stars on the WWE roster. The duo joined forces earlier this year and did not take long to win the Women's Tag Team Championship.
However, their title reign did not last long as they lost the gold to The Unholy Union, consisting of Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, in a Triple Threat tag team match also involving the team of Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark at Clash at the Castle 2024. However, Belair and Cargill will get a chance to reclaim the gold as they will face Fyre and Dawn on SmackDown next week.
Jade Cargill has competed in just a handful of matches since joining the Stamford-based promotion last year. She was one of the participants in the 2024 Queen of the Ring tournament but ended up losing to Nia Jax via DQ in the quarterfinals.
