Former champion seemingly breaks nose on WWE RAW
A former WWE champion seemingly broke her nose last night on Monday Night RAW. The superstar in question is Katana Chance.
On the July 30 edition of the red brand's show, Chance teamed up with Kayden Carter and Lyra Valkyria to lock horns with the team of Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler, and Zoey Stark in a six-woman tag team match. Stark hit Chance with the Z-360 to win the contest for her team. However, their victory celebrations were cut short by Damage CTRL, who attacked the newly formed faction to seemingly turn babyfaces for the first time.
After the show, one-half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, Kayden Carter, took to Instagram to share a backstage video of her tag team partner, Katana Chance, receiving treatment from the medical staff. The 34-year-old appeared to have suffered a broken nose during the match on RAW. Carter, for some reason, deleted the post after some time.

Katana Chance and Kayden Carter opens up about their goals in WWE
Kayden Carter and Katana Chance were drafted to Monday Night RAW in 2023 after an impressive run in NXT. The duo continued to impress fans with their in-ring abilities and won the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions in December. Their reign, however, lasted only 39 days as they lost the titles to Kabuki Warriors.
In an appearance on WWE's The Bump after winning the championships, the two opened up about their goals as a tag team. Chance claimed that the duo wanted to be fighting champions. Carter, on the other hand, mentioned that they want to build a legacy similar to several top men's tag teams in WWE:
"Just to add to add on to what she says, it’s no secret that people don’t believe that the women’s tag division is very strong. For us, we want to be the staple and the representation of why the women’s tag division is so awesome, and we want to build our legacy, and really change what people’s perspective is of women’s tag team wrestling. We want to be like, when people talk about tag wrestling, they’re not like, ‘The Usos, Street Profits.’ They want to be like, ‘Kayden and Katana.’ We want to add that staple and just be representation for all the years of tag wrestling to come." The former NXT Women's Tag Team Champions recently aligned themselves with Lyra Valkyria. It remains to be seen what lies ahead for the trio following their recent loss on RAW.
