Former champion shares cryptic message amid WWE hiatus
An absent WWE Superstar shared a cryptic message on social media today. The star in question has not competed in a televised match on the main roster since the June 17 edition of RAW.
Dragon Lee has not wrestled a match on the red brand since his loss to The Judgment Day's Carlito in June. He competed in a Battle Royal in NXT won by Je'Von Evans on June 18 and has only been featured on WWE Live Events ever since. The veteran took to social media today to share a cryptic message amid his hiatus from WWE television.
"I'm working on it," he wrote.
Dragon Lee was supposed to team up with Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania XL earlier this year, but he was attacked by Carlito. Andrade wound up teaming with Mysterio to defeat Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio at The Show of Shows in April.

Rey Mysterio disclosed why he chose Dragon Lee to be his tag team partner at WrestleMania XL.
Carlito's attack prevented Lee from having a chance to have a WrestleMania moment. Andrade replaced the former NXT North American Champion in the match, where Philadelphia Eagles legends Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson helped them defeat Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar.
In an interview on SmackDown LowDown earlier this year, Mysterio noted that Latino World Order was excited about adding Dragon Lee, and it was difficult to decide his partner for WrestleMania.
"This is a very exciting moment for the group, for the LWO. It was a very hard decision for me to make on who would be my partner but everything just kinda comes out on the fly. The moment was hot and I know he really wanted to be a part of this group. Latinos forever," Rey Mysterio said.
Lee defeated Dominik Mysterio at Deadline 2023 to capture the NXT North American Championship. It is the only title the 29-year-old has ever held during his time in the company.
Dominik Mysterio blasted his Judgment Day stablemates following the loss for not being there for him. It will be interesting to see when Lee returns to action on WWE television.
