Former champion shares cryptic update following split tease on WWE RAW

A former champion shared a cryptic message following a frustrating loss this past Monday night on WWE RAW. The star in question is part of a very popular faction on the red brand.

The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh defended the World Tag Team Championship against The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) this past Monday night. Woods had the match won after connecting with an Elbow Drop on JD McDonagh, but the referee was distracted by Kofi Kingston hitting a Trust Fall onto The Judgment Day at ringside.

Balor and McDonagh wound up escaping with the victory, and Woods argued with Kingston following the match. Xavier Woods took to social media today to share a cryptic message following The New Day's split tease on WWE RAW.

"Some things are bigger and more important than how frustrated you are. Move accordingly," he wrote.

Former WWE Champion addresses The New Day potentially splitting up on RAW

Big E recently addressed the possibility of The New Day breaking up on WWE television.

The veteran is a member of The New Day as well but has not wrestled since suffering a broken neck on the March 11, 2022, episode of SmackDown. In an interview with Chris Vannini on the Getting Over: Wrestling Podcast, Big E noted that his faction is going through some difficulty and is figuring out what they want to do moving forward.

"Yeah, you know, obviously those are my brothers for life. There is a bit of a crux. Like, we have spent so much time at the top of the tag team division. Kofi [Kingston] being World Champion, I got an opportunity to be World Champion, and [Xavier] Woods is King of the Ring. After the run in the NXT, I feel like now, where do we fit here? I feel like it's a bit of a crossroads for them figuring out what they want to do," E said. (From 1:14:43 to 1:15:12)
