Former champion shows off brutal scar following recent WWE match
A popular WWE Superstar was on the receiving end of a brutal blow during his recent match. The name in question, Tommaso Ciampa, shared a social media update, showing off his battle scar.
The 39-year-old recently locked horns with Andrade on WWE Speed to earn the opportunity to challenge Ricochet for the Speed Title, which the former AEW star won ahead of last week's edition of Friday Night SmackDown. During the number one contender match, however, the Mexican star dealt a brutal elbow shot on Ciampa's nose before scoring the win.
Tommaso Ciampa's nose was busted open following the hit. The former NXT Champion took to Instagram after the match was aired on X (formerly Twitter) earlier today to share the scar he received at the hands of Andrade.

#DIY's Johnny Gargano pushes for a title match at WWE SummerSlam
WWE SummerSlam is scheduled to air live from Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio, on August 3. Johnny Gargano recently expressed his desire to challenge for a title at the premium live event in front of his home crowd.
During a recent conversation with Mike Jones of DC 101, the 36-year-old pointed out that #DIY has not challenged A-Town Down Under for the Tag Team Championship. Gargano further expressed his desire to have a title opportunity at SummerSlam:
"If the stars were to align and me and Tommaso were to get a title match at SummerSlam for the Tag Team Titles, I want to put that out into the universe. To be able to have a title match at SummerSlam in Cleveland Browns stadium, with that crazy atmosphere. I can only imagine what the crowd would be like for that. It'd be something I would remember for a long time and the culmination of work if we were able to make that happen." [H/T: Fightful]
Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa are among the most decorated performers in NXT history. However, they have yet to win a championship on the main roster.
