Former champion will never be seen again in WWE after a humiliating loss at recent event, assumes Vince Russo (Exclusive)
A lot has transpired in WWE over the last couple of days, with The Rock, Raquel Rodriguez, and Jimmy Uso returning and Kevin Owens turning heel on Cody Rhodes. Amid all the chaos, Vince Russo has made a career-changing assumption about a RAW star.
Monday Night RAW this week featured a Good Ol' Fashioned Donnybrook match between Sheamus and Pete Dunne. The duo have been at odds for the last several weeks and got a chance to settle their differences in a unique stipulation match. The Celtic Warrior ended the rivalry with a win as he defeated Dunne even though his hands were tied behind his back.
The ending did not sit well with Vince Russo, who stated on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW that Dunne getting buried so badly should mean he would never be seen on WWE programming again.
"What about this: How much TV time did they give Pete Dunne in the last two months only for Sheamus to beat him with his hands tied behind his back? That’s why you gave Pete Dunne TV time for the last three months? So somebody could beat him with his hands tied behind his back? I am assuming we are never going to see Pete Dunne again. I am assuming," Russo said. [From 48:38 onwards]
Pete Dunne was a prominent face on WWE programming over the last few weeks. He even won over Sheamus in their first match. However, the former NXT UK Champion suffered a humiliating loss in their rematch.
