Former RAW personality teases big return to WWE; but there's a twist
A popular former WWE RAW name recently took to social media to tease a massive return to the Stamford-based promotion under Triple H's creative leadership. The name in question is former RAW ring announcer Samantha Irvin.
Irvin initially gave a tryout at the WWE Performance Center to become a wrestler but was unsuccessful in her attempt. However, she was signed by the company in April 2021 as a ring announcer for 205 Live. She was later shifted to the main roster on SmackDown under the same role. Before announcing her departure from the promotion on October 21, 2024, the 35-year-old served as the ring announcer on Monday Night RAW.
WWE star Lola Vice recently took to Instagram to post a video of her workout session and sent a three-word message in the caption.
"The Vice way," she wrote.

This post caught Samantha Irvin's attention and she left a comment on it. Irvin asked Vice if it was too late to return to the Stamford-based promotion. However, the former RAW ring announcer was only joking with her comment.
"Is it too late to come back?" she wrote.

Samantha Irvin revealed why she left WWE
While responding to a fan on Instagram, Samantha Irvin revealed that she never really liked being an announcer and she thought it would just be her way in the Stamford-based promotion.
Irvin also mentioned that she wanted to become a manager but the company did not see her future in any other role besides announcing.
"I don’t like announcing, I’m serious! Announcing was only supposed to be my way in. I wanted to manage, maybe even become a general manager one day. But WWE saw no other future for me besides announcer. I love watching the action, but I don’t love being an announcer,” wrote Samantha Irvin.
Many fans believe Samantha Irvin might return to World Wrestling Entertainment in the future. It will be interesting to see if Irvin will ever work as a ring announcer again in the Stamford-based promotion.
