Former rival shows support for Becky Lynch amid her absence from WWE
Becky Lynch's WWE contract expired earlier this month, making her a free agent. The Man has seemingly decided to take a break from professional wrestling for the time being. In a recent interview, her former rival, Bianca Belair, said some kind words for the former RAW Women's Champion.
The 37-year-old's last in-ring appearance was against Liv Morgan in a Steel Cage match for the Women's World Championship on the May 27 edition of Monday Night RAW. The former Riot Squad member had defeated The Man for the title at King and Queen of the Ring following interference from Dominik Mysterio. The Judgment Day member once again unwillingly helped Morgan score the win.
During a recent interview with Denise Salcedo, Bianca Belair was asked about her take on the current Becky Lynch situation. The EST responded by saying that she was supportive of the Women's Grandslam Champion in whatever she wanted to do. She further mentioned how her former rival helped her grow:
"I’m just super supportive of Becky, of whatever space she’s in right now, what she wants to do. Everyone knows how pivotal Becky was for my career. Not just inside the ring, outside the ring. She’s someone that I’ve always been able to go to and lean on, just for advice and as a friend. I would call Becky my friend," she said.
Bianca Belair further praised Becky Lynch, reflecting on her impact on the WWE's women's division:
"She’s someone who has stood up for me, who has led me, who has taught me. We see everything that Becky has done for this division and for the women’s division. Being one of the Four Horsewomen, being one of the women that has main-evented WrestleMania." [H/T - WrestleZone]

WWE RAW Superstar opens up about Becky Lynch's influence on their career
Becky Lynch is one of the most decorated female superstars in WWE. Her fellow countrywoman Lyra Valkyria recently talked about Lynch in an interview.
Speaking to Talksport, the former NXT Women's Champion stated that Becky Lynch was the reason behind her getting into professional wrestling:
"She’s been massively influential to me. She was the reason I started. Just seeing her doing her Irish dancing that she’s now very vocally very ashamed of. Honestly, seeing her do that made me realise: ‘Irish person, oh my God, how did she get there?’ That is what set the ball rolling for me. Even that ‘shameful debut,’ as she calls it, it had such a massive effect. Because here I am, in a way, because of that," she said. [H/T - Talksport]
Becky Lynch has been an integral part of WWE over the years. It will be interesting to see if and when she decides to re-sign with the Stamford-based promotion.
