Former Shield member winning the 30-man Royal Rumble match next year is possible, according to WWE analyst
The Shield may not be a thing anymore in WWE, but its two former members, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns have become mainstays of the promotion. Wrestling analyst Sam Roberts recently picked The Original Tribal Chief to win the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble match.
Roman Reigns is currently embroiled in another Bloodline civil war, stemming from his loss at WrestleMania XL. The Head of the Table recently reunited with a returning Jimmy Uso, but the numbers game has caught up to them. The Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline has obliterated both men for two straight weeks.
The OTC has expressed his desire to reclaim the Undisputed WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes. However, with the new Bloodline continuing to be a thorn in his side and The Rock's return upon us, Roman Reigns' path to WrestleMania 41 won't be easy.
On the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts said he was rooting for Roman Reigns to win the 30-man Royal Rumble match and John Cena to win the Elimination Chamber match to book their WrestleMania berths, respectively.
"I have Roman Reigns winning the Rumble and John Cena winning the Chamber right now," Roberts said. (From 1:09:52 to 1:09:56)

What's next for Roman Reigns in WWE?
Despite Jimmy Uso being back in the mix, Roman Reigns is still short of friends to feud with The Bloodline.
Last week on SmackDown, Jey Uso turned down an OG Bloodline reunion, but it looks like the circumstances will force him to get back with his brothers. The YEET Master lost his Intercontinental Championship to Bron Breakker on WWE RAW last night, thanks to Solo Sikoa and his men interfering in the main event.
Jey Uso would want to exact revenge on Solo Sikoa and there's only one way to do it. Will he return to SmackDown and reunite with Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso in time for Survivor Series: WarGames? Only time will tell.
