Former Universal Champion sends Damian Priest a threatening message

WWE Superstar Damian Priest is still nursing the wounds of betrayal he suffered at SummerSlam in Cleveland. As The Archer of Infamy is trying to make his former faction pay, he has now received a threatening message from a former Universal Champion.

Finn Balor successfully avenged his 2023 SummerSlam loss against Seth Rollins, which he felt Priest was responsible for, by keeping Gunther alive in the World Heavyweight Championship match. Last week on WWE RAW, Balor and the new Judgment Day tried to ambush Priest as he fought Carlito. However, Rhea Ripley’s appearance allowed The Punisher to stand his ground. Now, Balor has sent a new threatening message to Priest with an image of him holding his face in his hands.

"Pucker Up 😘😘."

This isn’t the first time the former Demon King has threatened Damian Priest. Before his, he shared stills from both the 2023 and 2024 SummerSlam events and compared his defeat with that of The Archer of Infamy. The Irish Superstar wrote that he waited a year to get his revenge on Priest to screw his title defense match at the same premium live event.

Interestingly, while Damian Priest is currently facing a horde of enemies, he recently got closer to a former rival and a potential ally.

Damian Priest gets back at Gunther alongside Jey Uso

After this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown went off air, Damian Priest teamed up with Jey Uso to face The Imperium in a dark match. The former rivals fought the World Heavyweight Champ Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser and defeated them by pinning the latter for the win. Interestingly, the victory was followed by The Uce making The Punisher break character and join in the 'Yeet' celebrations.

Priest also showed a rare smile on his face that contrasted his usual tough and ferocious expressions. With this, Priest scored a much-needed win against the man who dethroned him at SummerSlam.

Jey Uso has been trying to get close to Rhea Ripley after her fallout with Dominik Mysterio. Moreover, The Terror Twins would also need an ally to watch their back at Bash in Berlin against The Judgment Day when they fight Liv Morgan and Dom. It would be interesting to see if this wholesome moment leads to them coming together on August 31, 2024.
