Former Universal Champion sends a message to Judgment Day member after WWE RAW
A former Universal Champion recently sent a message to current Judgment Day member JD McDonagh after the latest edition of WWE RAW. The champion being referred to is Braun Strowman.
Since Strowman returned to WWE after recovering from a neck injury, he has been targeting The Judgment Day. Something similar happened on this week's edition of the red brand as The Monster of All Monsters interfered to take out Carlito, who came out to help Finn Balor and JD McDonagh in their attempt to win the World Tag Team Championship against The Miz and R-Truth.
Following this incident, Damian Priest told McDonagh to ask RAW General Manager Adam Pearce to book him a match against Braun Strowman for next week's show.
During RAW Talk, Strowman reacted to the possibility of facing JD McDonagh on next week's show. The Monster of All Monsters sent a threat to the Judgment Day member, saying that he would put McDonagh on his shelf with the rest of his Funko Pop collection.
"I heard he went to Adam Pearce to ask for a match with me. If that's what he wants, that's what he'll get. He's gonna have to lay in the bed that he's made, though, and when I'm done with him, I'm gonna put him in a little box, and I'm gonna set him up on my shelf with the rest of my Funko Pop collection," Strowman said with a laugh. Disco Inferno praised JD McDonagh for his performance as a heel in WWE
During an edition of Keepin' It 100, Disco Inferno said that he believed JD McDonagh takes good bumps inside the squared circle as a heel and also praised his acting skills in backstage segments.
Inferno also mentioned that McDonagh could have a long career as a mid-carder in WWE.
"I don't know what his [JD McDonagh] future is, but he's in a good spot on The Judgment Day. Wow, this guy's a good little guy that could take good bumps! Some of the guys [Heels] don't want to take the bumps. So, they want to save it, but you need the heels to sell for the babyface in segments and stuff if there's an attack or anything. He does that really well. Plus, he's a good actor backstage in the vignettes. A good mid-card guy that has a job for a long time is what I would think could be that guy's career arc,'' Inferno said.
It will be interesting to see how the match between JD McDonagh and Braun Strowman will go on next week's edition of WWE RAW.
