Former World Champion comments on Drew McIntyre's performance in major project outside WWE
A former World Champion just commented on Drew McIntyre's performance in his recent project outside WWE. These two wrestlers were involved in this project together.
Batista is one of the few men to make a successful transition from the ring to the world of acting. He is now a well-established actor with an impressive repertoire of films under his belt. He is most known for his role as, Drax, in the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Batista's latest movie is 'The Killer's Game.' The film will also feature Drew McIntyre who will be making his debut on the big screen. Cathy Kelley interviewed The former world champion was all praise for the Scottish Psychopath's performance at the red carpet premiere of the film.
"He did amazing, people are gonna be blown away by Drew in this. He's so funny and he's just so charismatic, it was perfect," he said. [0:21 - 0:26]
The 55-year-old continued to say that he watched McIntyre grow up in the wrestling business and that he was very proud of all his accomplishments.
"And I've known Drew for a very long time, and we've stayed in touch well before this. I watched Drew grow up in this business. I'm super proud of him, I'm proud of what he's accomplished," he added. [2:06 - 2:14]

Mercedes Mone sends a message for Drew McIntyre after his film debut
Drew McIntyre's film debut is a big deal for him. Given his current age, this could well open the door for more Hollywood opportunities down the line. Considering how big a night it was for him, he had many of his friends from the wrestling industry to support him, including Mercedes Mone.
During a recent edition of her Mone Mag newsletter, the AEW TBS Champion mentioned that she went to the red carpet premiere of The Killer's Game to show her support for one of her close friends.
"So, when I got the invite for the premiere of The Killer’s Game starring my friend Drew McIntyre, you bet I was gonna be there to support. [...] I hope this opportunity elevates Drew to additional outside opportunities. Regardless, he is starring in a big movie, and for that he should be so proud," she said.
It will be interesting to see if this is going to be just a one-off project for The Scottish Warrior or whether it is only the beginning of Drew McIntyre's Hollywood career.
