Former World Champions could join hands to destroy the War Raiders, claims veteran journalist - "Ooh, that's a match" (Exclusive)
Veteran wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently spoke about a possible tag team that could dethrone the War Raiders. The duo recently became the World Tag Team Champions.
This past Monday on RAW, Erik and Ivar fought tough competition from Finn Balor and JD McDonagh to claim the World Tag Team Title. They landed the War Machine on Balor to pick up the victory and become the new tag champs.
On a recent episode of Sportskeeda's Wrestling Time Machine, Apter explained that no tag team was credible enough to take the tag titles away from the duo. He pointed out that Drew McIntyre hinted towards forming a team with Seth Rollins this past Monday. The senior journalist mentioned that he would be open to seeing that match.
"There's no other tag team in the WWE at this moment that could make them look weak. Nobody. Unless they put what Drew McIntyre wanted to do. If they put Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins together as a tag team against the War Raiders. Ooh, that's a match." [From 4:10 onwards]
This past Monday on RAW, Drew McIntyre teased that he and Seth would be unstoppable if they decided to team up. However, The Visionary turned him down, claiming he would never side with The Scottish Warrior.
It will be interesting to see if the two former World Champions ever team up and face The War Raiders in the coming months.
