Former wrestling writer highlights major problems with Cody Rhodes and other WWE babyfaces (Exclusive)

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo spoke about problems with Cody Rhodes and other top babyfaces in the company. The veteran reviewed this week's episode of Monday Night RAW.

The American Nightmare is arguably the biggest babyface in the company at the moment. He is the Undisputed WWE Champion and is currently in a feud with the new Bloodline led by Solo Sikoa.

This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo pointed out that Cody, Rollins, and Jey were successful at getting reactions from the fans. He pointed out that WWE thought they were over just because the fans were singing and chanting with them.

"You give the talent some fan interaction, they're gonna get over. We've seen that. They sing Cody in, they love singing Cody's song, obviously with Seth Rollins. And now you can add Jey Uso to that list. When it's Yeet, No Yeet and it's that fan participation and they feel like they're a part of it and now the crowd is into that."

Russo pointed out that although the crowd was responding to these stars, they were still not at the same level as Attitude Era greats such as The Rock, Stone Cold, and The Undertaker.

"Bro, you're gonna sit there and you're gonna put Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, and Seth Rollins next to Austin, the Rock, Taker, Mick Foley, and DX? I'm sorry but they're not in the same league." [From 14:30 onwards]

Cody Rhodes will take on the combined might of The Bloodline at Money in the Bank in a six-man tag team match. He will have the support of Randy Orton and Kevin Owens.

It will be interesting to see if Rhodes can take down the faction again this weekend.
