Former WWE Champion AJ Styles responds to 1002-day request

WWE Superstar AJ Styles enjoys a lot of love from almost the entire pro wrestling fandom. Recently, The Phenomenal One responded to a fan's post on social media. Interestingly, AJ's reply comes after that fan's request had been floating online for 1002 days.

The fan had posted several tweets to get AJ Styles's attention and receive a shoutout from him. On the 1002nd day of this effort, the WWE Grand Slam Champion did notice his endeavor and responded to his request via a tweet on X.

“1002 what up dude!!!!! Thanks for being a fan @Tom_Kirkham94,” wrote Styles.

The fan in question, Tom Kirkham, likes many other WWE Superstars as well and has posted several tweets asking for a response from them.

While Styles made this fan's day with this reply, he recently broke the hearts of several others with a statement.

AJ Styles makes a sad revelation for Japanese fans

While AJ Styles is a celebrated WWE Superstar, the pro wrestling scene in Japan is also one of the biggest pillars of his career. WWE recently sent The Phenomenal One and several other stars to Japan for a series of live events where AJ performed for three consecutive nights.

This was a big gift for fans in the Land of the Rising Sun who love the former member of The Bullet Club. However, in a video in which superstars spoke about their experience in Japan, Styles heartbreakingly revealed that that was probably his final appearance in Japan.

“If you don’t know already, when I’m in Japan, ever since I was with the Bullet Club, I had a mask made for the big shows of the year, and now it’s tradition that I have a mask when I walk out (in Japan). This possibly could be the last one you see on AJ Styles, so let’s get it," said Styles. (H/T WrestleTalk)

Styles had recently teased his retirement from the Stamford-based promotion, but it turned out to be a work to attack Cody Rhodes. However, given that Styles has now said goodbye to Japan, the final bout of his career might just be around the corner. It would be interesting to see how and when The Phenomenal One departs and hangs up his boots on a grand career.
