Former WWE champion demands title shot against Bianca Belair; has already defeated her

Bianca Belair is the reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Jade Cargill. The EST and The Storm had issued an open challenge to superstars across all three brands of the company and asked them to compete for a title shot. Now, a former WWE Women’s Champion has responded to the call and aimed at her championship. The name in question is IYO SKY.

The Damage CTRL member had recently defeated Bianca Belair in a grueling singles match. Tagging along with Kairi Sane, SKY also recently overcame The Unholy Union, which consists of Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. Highlighting these two big wins, the Japanese stars delivered a promo on this week’s episode of WWE RAW and demanded a title shot. They also noted that they will reboot the era of Damage CTRL’s dominance by dethroning Belair and Cargill.

IYO pointed out that she had already gotten inside the head of Bianca. It must be noted that SKY had also nicked her first reign as the WWE Women’s Champion after cashing her Money in the Bank contract on Belair at the SummerSlam 2023 Premium Live Event.

While Damage CTRL has challenged Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, The Unholy Union is not done with the reigning champions either. Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn had notably gotten into a verbal spat with Katana Chance and Kayden Carter backstage this week regarding the tag titles as well.

Chance and Carter wanted to challenge the reigning champions right after their return on RAW after a two-month absence, which angered Dawn and Fyre. With so many teams aiming for the top gold, it would be interesting to see what happens in the women’s tag team division.
