Former WWE Champion explains current feud is just a "misunderstanding"

A two-time WWE Champion recently explained that his current feud was a "misunderstanding" that went too far. The Miz doesn't know why he's getting involved with The Wyatt Sicks in the first place.

Speaking to Cathy Kelley on WWE RAW, The Miz could not believe that he's set to team up with The Final Testament to take on The Wyatt Sicks in an eight-man tag team match next week. He called it "a simple misunderstanding" that should have never led to a huge confrontation:

"This is a classic example of a simple misunderstanding getting taken way too far. There's no reason for me- us, to get even involved with The Wyatt Sicks. I think cooler heads need to prevail here," the eight-time Intercontinental Champion said.

Kelley then asked Miz if he was calling Karrion Kross a hothead, which the former WWE Champion denied immediately:

"Whoa, whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa! You said that, not me. I am not commenting on the temperature of anyone's head," he said.

The Wyatt Sicks have been targeting The Final Testament over the past month, with The Miz being caught in the crossfire. He even got kidnapped before helping Karrion Kross set up an attack against Uncle Howdy and his crew.

However, things took a turn last week when Nikki Cross put a number on Scarlett backstage that seemingly made Kross angry. It will be interesting to see how Miz and The Final Testament work together next week.

The Miz doesn't want to participate in a match against The Wyatt Sicks next week on WWE RAW

In the same interview with Cathy Kelley, The Miz suggested making next week's match a six-man tag team match excluding him. He said:

"Karrion Kross is valid in being angry, but there are other ways to resolve conflict, a mediator, a 6-man tag excluding me."

The Wyatt Sicks have been nearly unstoppable since making their first appearance as a group back in June. They are not as active as people want them to be and have only been in one feud against Chad Gable and American Made.
