Former WWE champion is given an unflattering new nickname following SmackDown

WWE Superstar Michin recently gave her SmackDown rival an unflattering new nickname. The star in question was defeated by Michin this past Friday's Season Premiere of blue brand.

The 35-year-old got the better of Piper Niven in a singles match this past Friday night on the blue brand. After the bout, Niven and Chelsea Green attacked the veteran. WWE called out the former Women's Tag Team Champions earlier today on social media, which prompted a fiery response from Green.

Earlier today on social media, Niven compared Michin to Oscar from Sesame Street after slamming her on top of a trash can on SmackDown. The former TNA Knockouts World Champion hilariously responded by referring to Piper Niven as Big Bird as seen in the post below.

"Coming from Big Bird herself," she wrote.

Michin has never captured a title during her time as a WWE Superstar. She was released by the promotion in 2021 but was brought back to the company the following year as a member of The O.C. faction.

Former WWE manager praises Chelsea Green and Piper Niven as a tag team

Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell recently commented on Chelsea Green and Piper Niven as a tag team. The popular duo had an impressive reign as Women's Tag Team Champions last year, but were dethroned by Kayden Carter and Katana Chance last December.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show earlier this year, Mantell discussed Niven and Green as a tag team. He noted that he enjoyed the duo, and stated that Niven does all the work while Green provides the entertainment value. Mantell also shared that he would like to see Piper Niven square off against WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax as well:

"I liked it. I like Chelsea Green because I know her. She's got a lot of personality. Her and Piper fit together. Piper does the work and Chelsea does the entertainment value of it. So, it's working for them," said the veteran."I would be interested in seeing Piper and Nia Jax have a match, just to see what they do. Two big girls, I don't know. It maybe good. That's why we watch wrestling, right? We don't know But I'd be willing to take a chance to see it." [From 45:36 onwards]
