Former WWE champion launches impressive new project for wrestlers
A former WWE champion launched an impressive new project for wrestlers looking to connect with their audience. The star in question has not competed in a match since the April 20 edition of AEW Rampage.
Rob Van Dam and Katie Forbes have launched a new project looking to be an OnlyFans alternative for wrestling fans. A press release has been shared about the launch of "Only Wrestlers," which is a subscription-based platform exclusively for wrestlers and fans.
In the press release, Forbes compared the platform to OnlyFans and stated that wrestlers can share whatever they want on the site. You can check out the website by clicking here.
“Everyone’s heard of OnlyFans, so Rob Van Dam and I made a website called Only Wrestlers, and it’s pretty much the same concept,” Forbes said. “Wrestlers can post whatever content they want, and fans can interact with us. We’re excited to create a space that allows for genuine connections between fans and wrestlers.”
RVD was spotted in the crowd during SmackDown's premiere on the USA Network on September 13.
Rob Van Dam explains how he worked for WWE and AEW at the same time
Wrestling legend Rob Van Dam recently shared how he was able to work for both WWE and All Elite Wrestling at the same time.
The 53-year-old competed in six matches for AEW while signed to a WWE Legends deal. Speaking on the Cheap Heat Productions Podcast, the veteran noted that he was allowed to perform in AEW but could not be featured in video games or have action figures with the promotion.
"The first time that I talked to Tony Khan about doing this, a factor was that I still have a WWE Legends deal, so my use to AEW would be limited as far as they can't put me on video games, action figures, and stuff like that," Van Dam stated. "You can say it's limited on both ends or you can say I've got both ends going, best of both worlds, or you can just say RVD does whatever he wants." [21:43 – 22:18]
