Former WWE Champion to make epic return and challenge Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, says analystÂ
A popular WWE personality had predicted that a legend could be returning to challenge Cody Rhodes for his Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41. Sam Roberts believes that The Rock could make his grand comeback in time for The Show of Shows next year, where he could finally settle his differences with Cody.
The Brahma Bull and The American Nightmare's singles clash is one of the most anticipated matches in modern WWE history. They met in a memorable tag team contest on the Night One of WrestleMania XL, where The Rock teamed up with Roman Reigns, while Cody Rhodes joined hands with Seth Rollins.
That match ended with The Rock pinning Cody. Even at the fallout episode of RAW after WrestleMania, he came out to confront the newly-crowned Undisputed WWE Champion and made it known he would soon return to challenge him for the gold.
On a recent episode of his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts predicted that it was only a matter of time before the Hollywood megastar returned. The WWE personality feels that The Rock needs to face Cody at WrestleMania 41 for the title before he is inserted back into The Bloodline Saga on SmackDown.
"Cody took away from The Rock what The Rock wanted to do. The Rock specifically said when he returns to WWE, he's coming for Cody Rhodes. The Rock has that People's Championship. The Rock gave Cody Rhodes whatever he gave Cody Rhodes that we don't know what it is. To me, what I would like to see is The Rock and Cody at WrestleMania (41) and then down the road, The Rock gets involved in the Bloodline business again," Sam Roberts said. (36:38 - 37:12)

Dutch Mantell on Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns aligning to take on Solo Sikoa's Bloodline in WWE
While speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk podcast, former WWE manager Dutch Mantell made a bold prediction about Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns potentially aligning to go up against The Bloodline led by Solo Sikoa. He added that the Stamford-based company could make the most of this alliance before setting the stage for another heated feud between them.
"I think an animosity between them works against them and fans don't see that. They see a split coming between them, they don't want it. I would say run them till the wheels come off the cart then you can do something with it. Then you can do something with it. Get your money's worth out of it. And they are good for a year now, another year," Dutch Mantell said.
While Roman Reigns is expected to return and reclaim his position as The Tribal Chief from Solo Sikoa, Cody is already engaged in a heated feud with the stable. The American Nightmare, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens are set to take on The Bloodline in a six-man tag team match at the Money in the Bank 2024 Premium Live Event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
