Former WWE Champion makes surprise TNA appearance; whispers something in Nic Nemeth's ear

A former WWE Champion made a surprise appearance at tonight's TNA Wrestling event. That would be Hall of Famer JBL, who came out and confronted Nic Nemeth, formerly known as Dolph Ziggler, after TNA Emergence's main event.

At TNA Emergence, Nic Nemeth defeated Josh Alexander in a 60-minute Iron Man match contested for the TNA World Championship. The final score was 3-2 in Nemeth's favor.

After the win, The Showoff was left dumbstruck as former WWE Champion JBL made his way to the ring. The 57-year-old veteran then approached Nemeth and whispered something in his ear.

JBL has interestingly never faced Nic Nemeth in the ring, be it a singles competition or a multi-man match that was not a Battle Royal. The only time the duo was in the ring in the same match was way back in 2014. At the 2014 Royal Rumble, both men competed in the 30-man Royal Rumble Match.

Nemeth has been doing incredibly well for himself outside the WWE umbrella ever since his release last year. He was let go on September 21, 2023, thus ending his 19-year run with the Stamford-based promotion. As for JBL, one wonders what he whispered in Nemeth's ear and if he will reveal the same shortly.
