Former WWE champion manifests WrestleMania dream

A popular WWE Superstar shared a social media update, manifesting a WrestleMania dream. The name in question is Johnny Gargano.

The 36-year-old hails from Cleveland, the city that hosted the recently concluded SummerSlam Premium Live Event at Cleveland Browns Stadium. The Browns recently unveiled a rendering of a new indoor stadium they are planning to build.

Johnny Gargano took to X to share a screenshot from a video posted by the Cleveland Browns on the social media platform, suggesting the new stadium will also emphasize hosting wrestling shows like the current one. The NXT Triple Crown Champion claimed that he was manifesting a WrestleMania in the new stadium.

"Already manifesting Wrestlemania in the NEW Cleveland Browns Stadium!" he wrote.

Johnny Gargano wanted to compete for the Tag Team Title at WWE SummerSlam 2024

DIY defeated A-Town Down Under on the June 5 edition of Friday Night SmackDown to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. Unfortunately, their title reign did not last long as the duo lost the championships to Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga of The Bloodline in Gargano's home city of Cleveland on the blue brand's go-home show for SummerSlam.

Before winning the WWE Tag Team Championships, Gargano spoke to Mike Jones of DC101. While answering who he would love to face at the 2024 SummerSlam Premium Live Event in front of his home crowd, Johnny Wrestling expressed his desire to challenge for the tag team titles at this year's edition of The Biggest Party of the Summer.

"If the stars were to align and me and Tommaso were to get a title match at SummerSlam for the Tag Team titles, I want to put that out into the universe. To be able to have a title match at SummerSlam in Cleveland Browns Stadium, with that crazy atmosphere. I can only imagine what the crowd would be like for that. It'd be something I would remember for a long time and the culmination of work if we were able to make that happen," he said. [H/T: Fightful]

Unfortunately, SummerSlam weekend did not go well for DIY. They did not find a place on the PLE match card and lost the WWE Tag Team Championship the night before.
