Former WWE champion sends a 7-word message after shocking Cody Rhodes betrayal
While WWE Bad Blood saw Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns emerge victorious in the main event, the spotlight was on Jimmy Uso and The Rock's surprising returns. However, after the show went off-air, footage of Kevin Owens attacking Rhodes in the parking lot made rounds on the internet, making headlines all over the world.
Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens had tension between each other for the past few weeks after The American Nightmare agreed to team up with his long-time rival, Roman Reigns. Owens and Rhodes came face-to-face in the parking lot after the show, where the former lost his cool and unleashed an attack on the champion.
34-year-old Grayson Waller has now reacted to the shocking betrayal by Owens. In a recent post on X/Twitter, the former WWE Tag Team Champion uploaded a compilation of Owens betraying his friends in the past, something he featured on SmackDown a couple of months ago as well. Waller also sent out a seven-word message along with the video.
"Sharing this again for no specific reason," wrote Waller.
Triple H has sent out an official statement over Kevin Owens-Cody Rhodes altercation
While Triple H was seemingly unaware of the assault from Kevin Owens during the Bad Blood Press Conference, he replaced Rhodes to address the media. However, the King of Kings sent out an official statement on Rhodes and Owens' backstage incident.
The Game stated that the officials were aware of the incident that took place outside the arena and that the matter would be dealt with by the company internally.
"We are aware of the incident outside of the arena last night between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. The matter will be dealt with internally," The Game wrote.
With his betrayal, it is clear that Kevin Owens will now be portrayed as a heel and a storyline with Rhodes would help both men get out of the Bloodline business. Fans will have to wait and see what happens when both men come face-to-face once again.
