Greg Gagne praised Randy Orton's current storyline with Kevin Owens
Veteran wrestler Greg Gagne recently gave his thoughts on The Apex Predator's ongoing feud with Kevin Owens. The Prizefighter, who turned heel at Bad Blood after attacking Cody Rhodes in the parking lot, nailed a Piledriver on The Viper on the November 8 edition of SmackDown. Orton is currently consigned to the bench.
Speaking on the Straight Talk with The Boss podcast, Gagne called the ongoing KO-Orton feud the ''hottest angle'' he'd seen in years.
"The hottest angle that I've seen in years. KO and Randy Orton. I mean, my God! That was an old-school type deal, and it was well done. There was tremendous amount of heat on that, and Randy was carted off on a stretcher, and who knows if he'll be back? And to me, that brought back a lot of old school. The fans got into it. They got hot!" he said.
It remains to be seen how long Orton will be sidelined for. Meanwhile, Kevin Owens has set his sights on Cody Rhodes.
