Former WWE champion shows how she fooled fans at Money in the Bank
A popular WWE Superstar has shared how she fooled fans at Money in the Bank this past Saturday night. The premium live event aired live from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.
Tiffany Stratton won the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match to guarantee herself a future title shot at a time and place of her choosing. Chelsea Green was moments away from winning the match but Stratton sent her flying through two tables below before retrieving the MITB briefcase.
The promotion shared a video of the former Women's Tag Team Champion hiding in a storage crate during the show on Saturday so that fans wouldn't see her before the match.
Chelsea Green has also commented on the post and compared her fame to the level of music sensation Taylor Swift.
"Queen Taylor & Queen Chelsea, one and the same," she wrote.
Following the premium live event, there have been reports of Green receiving backstage praise for her performance during the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Chelsea Green names stars outside of WWE she'd like to wrestle
SmackDown star Chelsea Green has named several stars outside of the promotion she would like to work with outside of WWE.
Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling in an exclusive interview earlier this month, The Hot Mess was asked if there were people outside of WWE she would like to wrestle. Green noted that she has already gotten the opportunity to work with some amazing talent and offered some more names she wouldn't mind stepping inside the squared circle with.
"Here's the thing like, now all the girls that I wrestled with are here. It was Asuka, as Kana. It was IYO, it was Kairi. I mean, even Giulia, like, all these amazing Japanese wrestlers are now here. The one person that I did wrestle in Stardom that is not here is Mayu [Iwatani]. So that would be interesting. We also got Momo [Watanabe] that was really, really talented. So, I mean, honestly, the list goes on. If we went and watched all the Japanese companies right now, I could probably tell you 50. There are so many females in Japan that are so talented." Chelsea Green is married to former WWE star Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder) in real life and recently disclosed that she would like to see her husband return to the company. It will be interesting to see what the company has planned for Green on SmackDown following her performance at Money in the Bank.
