Former WWE champion wants a "big match" with Chad Gable at WrestleMania

Chad Gable's run on WWE RAW took a different turn when he made a new faction with The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile. Meanwhile, Otis spoke about his goals in the company and stated he wants a big match with Master Gable at The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Earlier this year, Otis and Chad Gable started to drift away as Gable became obsessed with the Intercontinental Championship. Meanwhile, Otis stayed put with Alpha Academy, alongside Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa. In the end, Gable was left all alone without the faction, and the two went their separate ways.

In an interview on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, Otis was asked about his goals in WWE in the coming years. The former RAW Tag Team Champion stated he wants a big match with Chad Gable at The Grandest Stage of Them All.

"Definitely a singles match at WrestleMania. I mean, everyone talks about the title. For me it's basically, probably a big match with Gable hopefully would be cool," Otis said. [H/T - CVV]

It could be a tease for the upcoming WrestleMania in Las Vegas as the management never gave a proper ending to Otis and Chad Gable's recent split.

Wrestling veterans believe WWE can come back to Otis and Chad Gable's story on Monday Night RAW

Earlier this year, tensions were running high between Chad Gable and Otis as the Alpha Academy students were constantly denying Master Gable's orders to help him win the Intercontinental Championship from Sami Zayn.

After the arrival of The Wyatt Sicks, the storyline between Otis and Gable was slowly shelved and Chad Gable shifted his focus towards the new group with his faction, American Made.

Speaking on Keepin' It 100 OFFICIAL, Konnan, and Disco Inferno believe that WWE hasn't shelved the storyline with the arrival of The Wyatt Sicks. They believe the management can revisit it at a later time.

"They've not dropped this feud but they did not deliver when the iron was hot. They did kind of pivot," Inferno said. "The only good thing about it is they can come back to it if they want to. They've pivoted. They should do a little bit more to keep Otis in the mix," Konnan added. [From 01:44 to 02:24]
