Former WWE Champion wants Joe Hendry to write his "comeback music"

Joe Hendry made waves with his WWE NXT appearance earlier this week. Records have been tumbling since his debut in the Stamford-based wrestling promotion, and a former champion wants the TNA sensation to write his comeback music.

Joe Hendry, one of the most popular names from TNA, appeared on NXT to compete in the 25-man battle royal to determine the next No.1 contender for the NXT Title at NXT Heatwave. He was quickly eliminated from the match after everyone ganged up on him at the start.

While he had a short stay in the ring, he sent the internet into a frenzy with his epic entrance. His debut is now the most-liked WWE video since WrestleMania 40.

Former WWE Champion JBL recently reacted to Joe Hendry’s iconic entrance on NXT. The Hall of Famer stated on X that he was hooked on Hendry’s theme that had topped iTunes charts not long ago. JBL even expressed the desire to have the TNA star write his comeback music.

"I never thought anything would equal "Rap is Crap" by the West Texas Rednecks, but @joehendry has done it. This is the greatest thing I’ve seen in years, I have spent the morning watching his videos and can’t love them enough. I have to have Joe write my comeback music. #IbelieveinJoeHendry."

Hendry has become an internet sensation after his song 'I Believe in Joe Hendry' was one of the most downloaded and listened to songs in the UK. The star has since enjoyed a lot of fanfare, which is bound to increase now that he has appeared in WWE.

Joe Hendry could make multiple appearances in WWE

The early elimination from the NXT Battle Royal left the TNA star fuming at the end of the night. After a confrontation with Shawn Michaels, Joe Hendry sent a warning to the entire roster with a post on X/Twitter4.

"Anywhere, Anytime, ANY SHOW @WWE @ThisIsTNA," Joe Hendry wrote.

While it’s unlikely that WWE will use him on the main roster right away, fans could see something different happen in the coming weeks. The company could use Hendry’s popularity to push him into the Money in the Bank ladder match and take him to the next level.

Hendry is no stranger to having great matches, and performing on the main roster will help him become more popular.
