Former WWE Champion will replace recently-signed legend in major rumored role, explains Bill Apter (Exclusive)

According to Bill Apter, an ex-WWE Champion may enter a new role soon. The new role is currently rumored to be filled by Jesse Ventura.

The Stamford-based promotion is set to bring back Saturday Night's Main Event show, prompting questions about which names will be involved. Recent reports suggest that Jesse Ventura will be playing a role in the upcoming show, probably as the color commentator. However, Bill Apter thinks if the deal with Jesse does not go through, The Miz may be the next best option.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's UnSKripted, the veteran journalist stated that while he was not a fan of the idea, The Miz may be filling in the spot instead of Jesse Ventura.

"I know who it's gonna be. And I am not a huge fan. It's gonna be the Miz. It's gonna be the Miz. Ya, if Jesse is not there, it's gonna be the Miz." [34:24 onwards]
