Peyton Royce comments on WWE splitting up The IIconics

Peyton Royce shared her thoughts on WWE deciding to split up The IIconics during her run with the company.

The promotion decided to split up The IIconics to make Peyton Royce and Billie Kay singles stars during their tenure with the company. In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling in 2021, Royce claimed she was still coming to grips with the company's decision to separate her from Kay.

"I mean, it was right there in that moment we found out what the stipulation was that day, maybe the day before, I don't know. I don't have a very good memory. But, it really was, Billie and I, we, more than just who we are as WWE Superstars; we have grown up together. So, for us to like, you know, our whole dreams, our whole journeys have been together. So for that to be just torn apart and like you said, so abruptly, I feel like I'm still digesting it, and I'm still trying my footing without her."

Royce and Kay made a lot of fans during their time at the company. It will be interesting to see if The IIconics ever get the chance to return to the company sometime down the line.
