A former WWE star posts an ominous message three months after his release from the company. He teased a major change.
Xyon Quinn signed with the WWE in 2018. Since he arrived at the Stamford-based promotion, he has failed to get over with the fans. He spent most of his time competing on NXT Level Up against notable stars such as Tavion Heights, Eddy Thorpe, and Nathan Frazer. Over the years, he was used sporadically.
His last match in the promotion came earlier this year against Bron Breakker on an episode of SmackDown. It took the latter just six seconds to defeat Quinn. He was released from his WWE contract in April 2024.
Three months after his release, Xyon Quinn posted an ominous message on social media. He teased a major change to his character that would reveal his true self.
"The time was around 6.50pm with the sun set going down on one side of the green with that nice warm light, and on the other side the night began to shadow the rest of the course. My family was the first thought that came to my mind. I felt like I let them all down.. It was like a sweet uppercut from Marvin Hangler and my gas tank had already been on empty and I've literally been running on fumes for months... It was at that time I realized I had two options."
He continued:
"I could fold and give up everything Id worked my a** off for these past 6 years and move back home to the other side of the world empty handed, or I could suck it up and take it on the chin and fall forward......That day I realized who I am. Maybe the journey isn't so much about becoming anything. Maybe it's about unbecoming everything that isn't really you, so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place. Who is Xyon? You're all about to find out that's for damn sure."

This isn't the first time that Xyon Quinn has teased a change since his WWE release
It looks like Xyon Quinn has been busy since his WWE release. While he has not been active in the ring since he departed the company, he is putting some time and effort into his character.
Following his release, Xyon Quinn took to Instagram stories to announce that he is working on a new entrance theme and shared a picture of Randall Karriker.
It remains to be seen what this message means about Xyon Quinn's future. It will also be interesting to see if fans will take to his new gimmick.
