Former WWE star reveals surprising reason why Eddie Guerrero's family didn't think he'd make it as a wrestler (Exclusive)
Eddie Guerrero belongs to one of the great wrestling dynasties - the Guerrero family. With wrestling being in his blood, you might be surprised to learn that both he and Chavo Guerrero were allegedly "mistakes" who were never supposed to be born.
Chavo Guerrero recently spoke to wrestling legend Bill Apter in a Sportskeeda Wrestling Exclusive and was asked about any Eddie Guerrero story that fans may not have known about.
Chavo revealed that Eddie Guerrero and he were both "late and early mistakes":
"There's so much stuff about Eddie [Guerrero]. I may have said it before, but when Eddie was a kid - he was the baby before me, right? Then I came and I was the baby. He was my grandfather's late mistake and I was my father's early mistake. So both of us were not supposed to be here. We were brothers. He was technically my uncle, but we were just three years apart and we grew up as brothers a 100%. We fought like brothers, we loved like brothers." [0:43 - 1:10]
He added that Eddie being emotional made his mother think that he would never make it as a wrestler:
"Eddie, his mom didn't think he could be a wrestler. Because he was such a...we call it chillón in Spanish - a crybaby. He was such a crybaby, not a whimp, but he would cry at the drop of a hat. My grandmother was like 'There's no way this kid is coming out of his father's footsteps.' And sure enough, he came out to be the best one." [1:14 - 1:37]

What did JBL say about the infamous chair shot to the head he gave Eddie Guerrero?
Eddie Guerrero eventually dropped his WWE Championship to JBL, who he faced at Judgment Day 2004. While the title didn't change hands that night, it was most remembered for the brutality that JBL inflicted on Guerrero.

"Eddie would have been mad if it was any other way," JBL wrote on Twitter.
