Former WWE star reveals Triple H suggested surprise RAW appearance

A former WWE star revealed that their appearance on RAW earlier this year came together at the last moment. She shared that it was Triple H's suggestion while she was visiting backstage.

In an interview with Steve Fall of Ten Count Media, former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia discussed her surprise appearance during the May 13 edition of WWE RAW. Garcia noted that she was visiting backstage when Triple H suggested she make a surprise appearance.

The Game wanted Garcia to co-announce with Samantha Irvin during the show. She said she put Samantha over during the segment because she feels the latter is doing a great job as a ring announcer on WWE RAW.

“I was backstage and Triple H was like, ‘Hey, do you want to be on the show tonight?’. I’m like sure, what do you want me to do? He goes, ‘I want you to co-announce with Samantha (Irvin) and announce together. I’m like, 'That would be awesome!' Something came over me when I got into the ring and she handed me the microphone. I just felt like putting her over in front of everyone because I genuinely think she is doing a great job. It was beautiful the way it was received by the fans. I didn’t expect that,” she said. WWE Hall of Famer reacts to Bobby Lashley's comments about Triple H

WWE legend Teddy Long reacted to Bobby Lashley's recent comments about not connecting with Triple H the same way he did with Vince McMahon. Lashley was officially moved to the alumni section on the company's website earlier today.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, the former SmackDown General Manager stated that he didn't understand what The All Mighty was talking about. He noted that McMahon and Triple H were both in positions of power, and his relationship should have reflected that.

"Well, Triple H is his own man, Vince is his own man. At the end of the day, Vince was still the boss but Triple H has power too. I don't understand what he's [Bobby Lashley] talking about. There's no such thing as having a relationship with one guy and having a relationship with another guy. Both of these guys are the boss. What are you trying to say—that I can go to this guy to save me? I really don't understand what he's talking about." [From 3:50 onwards]
